App Store & iTunes e-Gift Cards and Codes are issued and managed by Apple Distribution International Ltd. (“Apple”) and include App Store e-Gift Codes (collectively “Store Credit”) that are automatically added to your Apple Account (“Account”) balance when purchased directly from the App Store, Apple Books, Apple TV App or Apple Music (“Services”). Your Account balance represents the balance of all Store Credit that has been redeemed into and associated with your Account and funds added to your Account Balance through the Services to establish an “Associated Balance”. When you have an Associated Balance in your Account, purchases from the Services will first be deducted from your Account. Any unused Associated Balance will remain with your Account. If a purchase exceeds your Associated Balance, you will be asked to pay with another payment method. If your new payment method cannot cover the remaining amount, the transaction will be canceled. 2. Store Credit can be loaded into your account by redeeming this App Store & iTunes e-Gift Card into your Associated Balance or by adding funds to your Associated Balance through the Services. 3. You agree to not use Store Credit or Associated Balance in a manner that is misleading, deceptive, unfair, or otherwise harmful to Apple or its customers. Apple reserves the right, without notice to you, to void or deactivate Store Credit (including a portion of your Associate Balance) without a refund, suspend or terminate customer accounts, suspend or terminate the ability to use the Services, cancel or limit orders and bill alternative forms of payment if we suspect a Store Credit or Associated Balance was obtained, used, or applied to an Apple Account fraudulently, unlawfully, or otherwise in violation of these terms and conditions. 4. If you use the payment method on file with the Services to add funds to your Associated Balance, prior to charging the payment method on file, authorization will occur for the amount of your purchase or reload transaction. 5. Store Credit or Associated Balance is not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund (except as required by law); exchanged; resold; used to purchase Gifts or e-Gift Cards; used for purchases on the Apple Online Store; or used in Apple Retail Stores. e-Gift Cards and Content Codes can only be used to purchase content from the Services. Unused Associated Balances are not transferable. Apple may provide you with information about the redemption status of any Store Credit you purchase. 6. This App Store & iTunes e-Gift Card can only be redeemed into an Account in Hong Kong, its territories, and possessions. 7. If you choose to delete your Apple Account, you must spend your Associated Balance prior to closing the account. 8. Apple is not responsible for lost or stolen Store Credit, Associated Balance, or Content Codes. Risk of loss and title for Store Credit, Associated Balance, and Content Codes passes to the purchaser in Ireland upon electronic transmission to the recipient. 9. Apple reserves the right to close accounts and request alternative forms of payment if Store Credit, Associated Balance, or a Content Code is fraudulently obtained or used on the Service.
